Glenn Pride was born Aug. 14, 1942, and passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at the age of 81. Glenn retired from the State of Texas in 1996. He also worked in a machine shop. His passion was working on and rebuilding cars. The faster the car, the better.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jeanette Pride; daughter, Lisa Blatt and husband Danny; and grandchildren, Kaitlin Blatt and Madison Blatt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvis Hardy Pride and Ruby Broadway Pride.
The family received friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Friday, June 14, at Abundant Life Church in Willis, Texas. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 15, at Freeman Cemetery in Conroe, Texas.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
