Linda Sue Laird was born Feb. 1, 1951 and passed away Wednesday, 12, 2024 at the age of 73. She was a LPN at DeRidder Hospital. Linda enjoyed Facebook and drinking coffee with her friends. She loved her dog Mr. T and most of all she loved her family.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Kenneth Reeves and wife Paula, Billy Reeves, Gary Reeves and wife Angie, Kimber Evans, Tammy Evans, Kenneth Laird and wife Shanna, Anita Kurtz and husband Kevin, James Laird and wife Bevin; numerous great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Brenda Laird.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Mabel Stokes Laird; siblings, A.J. “Sissy” Shirley, A.J. “Dee” Reeves, Glenda Evans and husband Joe, Kenneth “Sonny” Laird and wife Evelyn Stokes Laird.
The family received friends from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Pastor Rob Tibbitts officiated. Interment followed at Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
