Rodney G. Darbonne was born Dec. 8, 1969, and passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the age of 54. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Rodney was a member of Ward 7 Fire District 1. More than anything, Rodney loved his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Krysta Darbonne; son, Justin Wall; grandchildren, Ava and Lillianna Darbonne; parents, Monty and Peggy Darbonne; sister, Vivian Chesson; brothers, Keith Darbonne and wife Elizabeth, and Terry Darbonne; honorary brother, Mark Trahan; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Darbonne; grandparents, Robert Lasha, Mary Boudreaux, Clopha Darbonne, and Bernice Darbonne.
The family received friends from 3 – 4 p.m. with the service beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, at Crossroads Baptist Church in Vinton. Pastor Rob Tibbitts officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
