Community Outreach Center

Judy & Bill Moore, Directors

Community Outreach Center provides food for qualifying families. Approximately 200 families are helped monthly. The Center is under the administration of New Hope Baptist Church and receives support from Second Harvest Food Bank (including USDA), LBC, and World Hunger. We also receive monthly support from several area churches and individuals who volunteer and collect monthly food pantry items, as well as assistance from local organizations and businesses.

The monthly food item list for the rest of the year is as follows: August, Dry Beans/Peas; September, Peanut Butter; October, Cake/Brownie Mix; November, Canned Chili; and December, Sugar or Flour. Other items collected throughout the year are Canned Tuna/Canned Meat, Canned Soup or Pasta, Rice, Cornbread Mix, Cereal Bars/Pop Tarts/Oatmeal, Macaroni & Cheese, Snack Pack Pudding and Rice. Any additional canned foods are always welcome.
