Havens General Store

Tonya and Russell Havens

Havens General Store is an old fashioned store located across from the old Hyatt school in Fields. They offer a wide variety of products. These include household items such as milk and bread, odd pvc and electrical fittings, shiners and worms as well as deer corn. Fresh local produce is available in season and they have a good supply of homemade jelly and preserves, local “Bearhead” honey, homemade pies, fresh ground cornmeal and lye soap to name a few.

In addition to the country atmosphere, you can enjoy the fresh, crispy fried catfish, a delicious homemade hamburger and or something else from their full menu, ready-to-go hot box, or have a made to order Hunt Brothers Pizza.

Locals gather in the morning for free coffee and conversation, maybe an order of biscuits and gravy or a delicious breakfast. One thing for sure - whether enjoying the good food, good conversation or just the good coffee you are to find a warm welcome and prices that can’t be beat here.
