PUBLIC NOTICE
Louisiana Water Company has filed a request with the Louisiana Public Service Commission for an increase in its metered rates for water for its customers in and around DeQuincy. This rate increase is necessary due to the increased investments in utility plant as well as the additional capital expenditures to protect our water supply. The existing minimum charge for customers within the corporate limits of DeQuincy is $14.90 for the first 2,000 gallons. All additional is billed at $3.07 per thousand gallons. The proposed minimum charge for these same customers is $16.50 for the first 2,000 gallons. All additional is at $3.60 per thousand gallons. The existing minimum charge for customers outside the corporate limits of DeQuincy is $17.06 for the first 2,000 gallons. All additional is billed at $3.07 per thousand gallons. The proposed minimum charge for these same customers is $19.10 for the first 2,000 gallons. All additional is at $3.60 per thousand gallons. All other fees and rates remain the same.
