Karen Watts Nichols, 64, of Lake Charles, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, at her residence.
She was born in Lake Charles, where she was a graduate of Lake Charles High School and resided in the Sulphur/Lake Charles area all of her life. She managed numerous local convenient stores and was shift manager for all three local casinos, currently employed at the Golden Nugget.
Survivors include her son, Brandon Watts of DeQuincy; sister, Lesley Impastato of Moss Bluff; the father of her son, Randy Wright of Hackberry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Watts and Mary Chambers, and twin sister, Kim Bryant.
A gathering of family and friends was held on Sunday, Feb. 3, at Johnson Funeral Home.
