Katherine Miller

Katherine Janeace “Necy” Miller was born on Aug. 26, 1940 in Iuka, Mississippi and passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019 at the age of 78.

Janeace was a pastor/evangelist/missionary wife for many years, known to many throughout the world as “Momma Miller”. Her love for people and her Godly hugs were unmatched and unconditional. She dedicated her life to the service of the Lord in all her earthly ways. She was a fervent prayer warrior, interceding for her children, grandchildren, and the souls around the world. She was loved by everyone she met and will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Jerry Miller; two sons, Rev. Darren Miller and wife, Melinda of Athens, Texas and Rev. Loren Miller and wife, Felicia of Venus, Texas; four grandchildren, Shelby Miller, Christopher Miller, Hannah Cousino and Justin Miller; four great-grandchildren, Georgia Grace Miller, Rhett Lewis Miller, Brooklyn Faith Cousino and Vella-Kate Griffin Miller. She is also survived by three sisters, Doris Holtonz of Houston, Texas; Judy McGrath of Austin, Texas and Sandra Myer and husband, Rev. David Myer of Port Arthur, Texas, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Syble Bridges; and one brother, Honorable Judge Don Bridges.

The family received friends on Monday, Feb. 25, from 6-8 p.m. at Abundant Life Sanctuary, 2301 West Parkway, Groves, Texas and the funeral service was held on Tuesday, Feb. 26, beginning at 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Sanctuary. Interment followed at Memory Gardens in Nederland, Texas.

Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
