DeQuincy vs. Anacoco (L) 5-8 Thursday, Mar. 7 – The Tigers took the loss falling 8-5. Cullen Pharris and Gunnar Gearen led the Tigers at the plate with two hits each. Radon Rosalis, Hunter Perkins and Luke Miller all added a hit in the effort by the Tigers. Cullen Pharris took the loss for the Tigers.

DeQuincy vs. Rapides (W) 12-2 (Combined No Hitter) Thursday, Mar. 7 – Gunnar Gearen picked up the win in the combined no hitter with Hadley Cooley.

Top hitters for the Tigers were Colby Pharis with three hits and Gunnar Gearen and Luke Miller with two hits each. Adding a hit each were Cooper Hext, Radon Rosalis, Cullen Pharris, Hunter Perkins, Jared Wilkins, and Hadley Cooley.

DeQuincy Vs. Many (W) 9-2 Tuesday, Mar. 12 – The Tigers traveled north to face the Tigers of Many in a contest that had the local Tigers victorious. Luke Miller picked up the win for the Tigers behind a thirteen hit offensive display by the local team.

Top hitters for the Tigers were Radon Rosalis and Gunnar Gearen, with three hits a piece, followed by Cullen Pharris with two hits. Also adding a hit each were Cooper Hext, Luke Miller, Colby Pharis, Hunter Perkins and Jared Wilkins.

Softball

Thursday, Mar. 14, the Lady Tigers Softball Team hosted the Lady Lions from Vinton in a district matchup that saw Raleigh Granger pick up the win on the mound for the Tigers.

The Lady Tigers had a rough first inning allowing the Lady Lions to plate seven runs in the top half of the first inning. The Lady Tigers were determined to dig out of the hole they were in and only allowed three runs through the other six innings of the contest. The Lady Tigers bats came alive and scored thirteen runs in the contest defeating the Lady Lions 13-10.

Top hitters for the Lady Tigers were Jana Barrow with three hits and four RBIs, Raleigh Granger with two hits and three RBIs, Kylie Shidla with two hits, Cenley Doyle two hits and three RBIs, Morgan Dykes added two hits and one RBI, Ryley Blackburn added a hit as well in the Victory.
