On Wednesday, Apr. 3, Hixson-Snider Funeral Home hosted their L.I.F.T. program, featuring special guest speaker, Wade Hampton, Chief Meteorologist at KPLC.

Hampton shared with attendees the safety in having a NOAA weather radio or KPLC’s weather App to be alerted to dangerous weather conditions. He said weather radios can be found at electronic stores, and with a smart phone, the app is very easy to download on your device.

Local champions from the recent Senior Games held at McNeese were honored.

Darlene Hooker informed everyone of special programs/services provided to the community by L.O.V.E. Community Mission.

In celebration of the Easter season, there was a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny.

Everyone enjoyed the spaghetti meal that was served along with entertainment, door prizes, and special fun generated by “Pin the Tail on the Bunny.”
