THE BOARD of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of DeQuincy, La. met in regular session on February 11, 2019 for the following purpose:
Chairman Jerry McCaig called the meeting to order and upon roll call, those present and absent were as follows:
Present: Jerry McCaig, Lynne Treme, Wesley Wells, Ira Royer, Carmen Iley, Shirley Bagwell and Brenda Vige
Absent: None
A quorum present, the following business was transacted. The minutes from January 15, 2019 were reviewed. Lynne Treme made a motion to approve and Carmen Iley seconded. Motion carried.
The financial report for December 2018 was reviewed. The year to date actuals were compared to the year to date budget. Ira Royer made a motion to accept the financial report and Wesley Wells seconded the motion. Motion carried.
A revised travel policy was presented and discussed. The new revision states reimbursements will not exceed the federal per diem rates for the locality and date established by the U.S. General Services Administration (www.gsa.gov). Lynne Treme made a motion to approve the revised travel policy as presented and Carmen Iley seconded the motion. Motion carried. Res # 953
Ira Royer made a motion to close the office Feb. 25 – 28, 2019 so all staff members may attend the 2019 SWNAHRO Annual Maintenance Workshop. Wesley Wells seconded the motion. Motion carried. Res # 954
The vacancy report was presented by Brenda Vige.
There being no further business to come before the board, the Chairman thereupon declared meeting adjourned.
