The 2019 Starks Panthers Boys Basketball Banquet was held Thursday, Apr. 11. The Panther Varsity Basketball Team gathered with family for recognition, tribute and fellowship as hosted by Coach “Taco” Holloway.
Coach Holloway recognized all managers, varsity letterman and squad players, which included; Managers Sydney Hutson and Ian Swain; Squadman 7th Grader Garret Humphrey, and Squadman Freshman Brendan Johnson. Letterman Certificates were awarded to Freshman – Colton Stains; Sophomores – Peyton Williams, Dalton Pevoto,Conner Buxton, Kadyn Howard, Jr. Carter Humphrey; Juniors – Cody Landry, Kaleb McClelland; Seniors – Brett Doxey, Dylan Mumaw, and Carl Barlow.
Additional awards were presented to Sr. Carl Barlow for Academic All State, Highest Free Throw Percentage and Offensive Player of the Year; Sr. Dylan Mumaw Defensive Player of the Year and Most Assists; Sr. Brett Doxey Highest Field Goal Percentage; Jr. Carter Humphrey Coaches Award; Jr. Kaleb McClelland Most Rebounds and Soph. Dalton Pevoto Most Improved.
District 7-C All District Honors went to Carl Barlow 1st Team, So. Kaleb McClelland 2nd Team, and Honorable Mention Sr. Dylan Mumaw and Sr. Brett Doxey.
Senior Plaques were presented to Dylan Mumaw four years of basketball, Carl Barlow four years of basketball, and Brett Doxey two years of basketball.
