This past weekend the Golden Knights from South Beauregard hosted Eunice Bobcats in a best two out of three in the Class 3A State Baseball Quarterfinals.
In the first game the Golden Knights defeated the Eunice Bobcats 4-3 and in the second game once again the Golden Knights defeated the Bobcats 7-3. In doing so, they will now face the #10 ranked Iowa Yellow Jackets in the semifinals.
On Thursday, May 9, at 1:30 p.m., if the Knights win, they will play for the Class 3A State championship on Saturday May 11, at 2:30 p.m. on field #40, at McMurray Park in Sulphur.
