The Singer Hornets after beating Saline in the regional round of the Class C playoffs found themselves having to travel to the #1 ranked team Summerfield.
They traveled north last Tuesday, Apr. 29, for the contest. The Hornets fought hard against the #1 ranked team and came up just shy falling in the quarterfinals 4-3.
The Hornets have reached the quarterfinals for the first time in many years.
Congratulations to the Hornets and coaching staff on a great year.
