The Golden Knights baseball team ranked #3 in the LHSAA Class 3A Baseball playoffs had worked there way back to the State Championship game. In doing so they would have the uphill task of taking on the number one team in Class 3A – Sterlington.
The Golden Knights put up a great fight but fell to the Sterlington team, 4-2. The Golden Knights claimed the State Runner up spot for 2019.
In the game, Chase Fisher took the loss and the Knights were led at the plate by Wyatt Beasley with two hits and Briton Coleman with one hit.
Congratulations to the Golden Knights and the coaching staff for another great year.
