Summer baseball camp to be held at DeQuincy High

Registration is underway for the DeQuincy Diamond Club Youth Baseball Camp to be hosted by DeQuincy High School. The camp will be held Tuesday through Thursday, June 4-6 for ages 5 to 14 years and will be directed by Brady Carlson, DHS Head Baseball Coach.

This camp will include instruction from Coach Carlson and Coach Tate Woodard and current players.

Campers will focus on fundamentals of the game from fielding, base running and hitting.

All campers should bring a glove and bat if they own one.

The camp will run from 9 a.m.-noon each day, at the DeQuincy High School baseball field. Campers will receive a t-shirt at the end of the camp.

Early registration will be held until Monday, June 3 and will cost $60 per camper.

Late registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, and will cost $65 per camper.

There is a family discount for every child after full cost of first camper for the cost of $30.
