The Starks Lady Panther Basketball team hosted their first fundraiser Dodge Ball Tournament Saturday, June 8.
Six teams entered and the participant ages varied from seventh graders, to parent and grandparent. The event was a success and was just as much fun to watch as it was to participate.
The Championship was taken by the Dodge Fathers Team, Runner-Up went to the Average Joes and Third Place to the agile Sparkle City Dodgers.
Team Contestants and fans are eager for the next Dodge Ball Tournament, which is being tentatively considered for September, if not sooner.
Regulations are for six member teams and each team must include at least two female players. Team age requirements are seventh grade through adult.
The fundraising event was a good time day of family fun, entertainment, and competition in the comfort of an airconditioned gym. Be ready to bring your moves and join the fun when the next tournament is announced.
