Funeral services for Kathleen T. Hyatt, 68, of DeQuincy were held Saturday, June 29, at Johnson & Robinson Funeral Home in Sulphur. Tony Crosier officiated. Burial was at Hyatt Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Robinson Funeral Home.
She died Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Care Center of DeQuincy. She was a native of Sulphur.
Kathleen retired from DeQuincy Memorial Hospital and worked for Turner Industries for 20 years. She was in the ladies Auxiliary Post 3802. She graduated from Sulphur High School.
Survivors include significant other, Carl Pierce Jr.; daughters Sondra Riley and husband Joe, of DeQuincy, Tina Streams and husband, Kenneth of Singer, Theresa Mason and husband, Milton of Crosby, Texas; sons, David Hyatt and wife, Nancie of Sulphur, Carlton Pierce of Singer, Dalton Hyatt and wife, Kaitlin of Singer; brother, Russell N. Trahan and wife, Tammy of Missouri; sisters, Patricia Trahan, Cynthia Trahan, Barbara Dugas, all of Sulphur, and Bonnie Myers and husband, Bobby Sr. of Arkansas; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Hyatt Sr.; and her parents, Russell H. and Annie May Trahan.
