The DeQuincy Dixie Coach Pitch All-Star team participated in the 2019 State Tournament in Ruston on July 4-7. Pool play record (Thursday and Friday), was 1 win 2 loses, beating St. Mary Central 0-11; falling to Minden 0-10 and East Ouachita 11-14. Seeding 3rd for the single elimination Consolation Bracket.
Saturday, they beat Mangham 19-7 and East Ouachita (2nd meeting) 17-14.
On Sunday, they played Rapides east with a win 5-0. That brought them to the Consolation Championship game where they met up with another District 7 team, Vernon American, winning 9-7.
