ORDINANCE 916
ORDINANCE ENTERING INTO AND AUTHORIZING MAYOR SMITH TO EXECUTE SOLID WASTE CONTRACT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Dequincy, Louisiana, the governing authority thereof, that they do hereby authorize Mayor Riley Smith to enter into and execute a solid waste contract with Waste Management commencing October 1, 2019.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance shall become effective upon the Mayor’s signature, or upon proper re-adoption by the Council pursuant to Section 2-13 (C) of the Home Rule Charter of the City of DeQuincy.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of DeQuincy, Louisiana on this the 8th day of July, 2019.
