Dorothy Chesson, 73, a resident of Ragley passed away on Wendesday, July 10, 2019 in Lake Charles.
She is survived by her children, Angeline Chesson of Lake Charles, Marsha Smith of Kinder and Joseph MacArthur “Bull” Chesson, Jr. of Topsy; grandchildren, Cody, Casey, Lena, Christina, Darrell, Shawn, and Dylan; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Wonder Arabie and Marilyn Reeves.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Chesson, Sr., son Joseph Lynn Chesson, parents, Aleci Broussard and Clarice Daigle Broussard; and brother, Joseph Broussard.
The family received friends Tuesday, July 16, from 12 noon until 3 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 3 p.m. The visitation and funeral was held at Riley Smith Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Private interment was at Riley Smith Memorial Park.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
