Floyd Sonier, Jr. , a resident of Bridge City, Texas was born on Oct. 14, 1956 in Orange, Texas and passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the age of 62.
He is survived by his companion, Zenaida Mazzagate; sons, Floyd Sonier, III of Tampa, Fla. and Ronnie Gene Sonier and wife, Lydia Marie Sonier of Slidell; grandchildren, Hailey Danielle Sonier, Aden Ali Sonier, McKenzie Joan Sonier, Ronnie Gene Sonier, Joshua Riley Sonier, Courtney Nicole Sonier and Sophie Marie Sonier; sisters, Maryland Kathie Palmer, Brenda Sonier Slaven, Zelda Lee and Vickie Lyn Golledge.
The family received friends Saturday, July 20, from 1-3 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 3 p.m. The visitation and service was held at Riley Smith Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
