Steven Foster, a resident of Oretta was born Feb. 24, 1959 and passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 at the age of 60.
He is survived by his children, Louanna Barbery of Oretta, John Foster of Oretta, Desiree Foster of Lake Charles, Shantell Foster of DeRidder and Katelyn Foster of Oretta; five grandchildren; his siblings, Bobby Foster of DeQuincy, Wilma Taylor of DeRidder, Preston Foster and Linda Parks, both of Oretta.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lathon Francis Foster and Margie Kay Kourtney Foster; and his sister, Hazel Gunn.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 26, from 12 noon until 3 p.m. at Oretta Pentecostal Church, 185 Missouri Street, Singer. The funeral service will be held at the church beginning at 3 p.m. Pastor Dustyn Rose will officiate. Interment will follow at Oretta Cemetery in Singer.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
