Cynthia “Cindy” Dawn (Savant) Emmons was born in Lake Charles. She died on Aug. 8, 2019 in Leesburg, Fla.
Survivors include her fiancé, Clarence “Bud” George, sister and brother, Patty Persons and Kenneth “Kenny” Savant, both of Leesburg, Fla.; daughters, Joanna (Emmons) Summers, of Ponca City, Okla., and Sarah (Emmons) Eldridge, and husband Bobby, of Kingwood, Texas; sons, Tim Emmons, and wife Heather, of Ragley, Charles “Charlie” Anderson, of Cumberland, Ga. and Chris Savant, and wife Brittney, of Longville; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Vernon “Bubby” and Alice (Hebert) Savant; one sister; one brother; and one son, Michael Eugene Emmons.
A Celebration of Life service was held Tuesday, Aug. 13, at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Graveside services were held at Green Oak Cemetery in Kinder.
