Sharon Gail Fairburn, 61, a resident of DeQuincy, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019.
She is survived by her daughters, Shondra Hyatt and husband, Marcem, and Baranda Husband; five grandchildren, Daniel Hollie, Kenneth Jones, Skylar Jones, Josie Harris and James Husband; and one great-grandchild, Brantley Burnett.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack Fairburn and Betty Mae Statum Fairburn; her brother, Mack Allen Fairburn; and grandparents, Louis Statum and Willie Mae Statum.
The family received friends Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 1-3 p.m. at Riley Smith Funeral Home in DeQuincy with a Memorial Service beginning at 3 p.m. Rev Jeremy Shields officiated. Interment will be at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
