Madalyn Langley, Rotary Club of DeQuincy’s 2019 Scholarship Recipient, was a special guest at the recent meeting, held on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
She thanked the club for the donation towards her college education and informed everyone of her plans to attend LSU this Fall to major in Nursing. Her long term plans include becoming a Physician Assistant.
Langley expressed that she was honored to be invited to meet DeQuincy Rotarians and had an excellent time.
Most importantly, she said that the Rotary 4-Way Test represents the same ideals from which she bases her own character. She said, “It was amazing to know other people in the community who believed in the same things that I did!”
“Madalyn, you are already a true Rotarian at heart. We wish you great success and further achievements.”
