Study Club to conduct outreach program

The DeQuincy Study Club, GFWC, has been selected as a 2019 Scooby-Doo DOO GOOD grant recipient by GenerationON and Points of Light Foundation. With the support of Warner Bros., Points of Light equips and mobilizes kids and families to create meaningful change in their communities.

The DeQuincy Study Club will conduct a Scooby Doo- DOO GOOD with PETS community outreach program on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon at the DeQuincy Railroad Museum. The Calcasieu Parish Animal Control and Adoption Center will have representatives on hand to present useful information to the participants. More animal care professionals will be involved, as well as fun and games for everyone. There will be giveaways, t-shirts, and etc for all attendees.

Mark your calendars now and prepare to bring your favorite stuffed animal if you wish!
