The DeQuincy Chamber of Commerce announces the upcoming 2019 Christmas Program schedule as follows:
Friday, Dec. 6, 4 p.m. until – The KCS Christmas Train will be in DeQuincy.
The Chamber will sponsor Christmas booth spaces during the event. Any booth such as food or arts and crafts may set up. Booth fee is $10. Reserve a booth by calling Lillian Karr at the Chamber office at 786-6451.
Saturday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m. – The Christmas Parade will be held, with lineup at Nichols parking lot.
Immediately following the parade, shopping will be available at the booths. Plus, if anyone wants to rent a booth at this time is encouraged to do so for a fee of $10.
After the parade, we will be expecting Snow, so make plans to attend. There will also be dancers and music.
Fireworks will round out the day at the ballpark at 7 p.m.
The Chamber will be selling Christmas t-shirts. There will be more information on this to come in the following weeks.
