Lesley Bryan Hoosier, 70, was born in DeQuincy, on Apr. 16, 1949 and passed away on Monday, Sept. 2, 2019 in Alexandria. Bryan loved the Lord and he loved his family. He was also a huge fan of LSU. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his three children, Melissa Hoosier DeFlora and husband, Joseph, Aaron Eugene Hoosier and Natalie Fern Hoosier; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Davida Hoosier, Clay Charles Hoosier, Emily Hoosier, Trey Rowe and Lydia Bridgett DeFlora. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Fern Hoosier; brothers, Marion A. Hoosier and wife, Kathy, Mark Hoosier and wife, Cheryl and Craig Hoosier and wife, Deborah.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Shaddinger Hoosier; and his father, Lesley Douglas Hoosier.
The family received friends from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, with the funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Riley Smith Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. James Vandergriff and Rev. Jim Fisher officiated. Interment followed at Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
