The DeQuincy Garden Club’s 2019 Art Battle/Art Walk was a success. Competitors included students from DeQuincy High and DeQuincy Middle School, as well as adults from Louisiana and Texas.

Members of the community and visitors contributed by their presence and their words of encouragement to the artists. They also contributed generously to the tip jars and participated in the silent auction.

Onlookers not only visited the art battle, but also participated in the Art Walk by visiting the Town Hall Museum, and by viewing the historic district murals and the recently restored Memories Are Made Of This mural.

Refreshments were served at the Town Hall Museum, which also featured the works of local artist, Morgan Allain.
