Eric C. Vaughn, a resident of DeQuincy, was born Nov. 9, 1960 and passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019 at the age of 58.
He is survived by his daughter, Erica Gorden and husband, Jay of Antlers, Okla., grandchildren, Jaylei, Coben, Luke and Owen; sister, Carla Miller and husband, Larry of Longview, Texas and brother, Anthony Vaughn and wife, Paula Sue of Lubbock, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl James Vaughn and Dorothy Wersterfer Vaughn; and one brother, Paul Vaughn.
The family received friends from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 and the funeral service began at 10 a.m. The visitation and funeral service were held at Riley Smith Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. Carlton Jackson, Jr. and Rev. Trace Buxton of First United Pentecostal Church in DeQuincy officiated. Interment followed at Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith Funeral Home, 1810 W, Fourth St., DeQuincy.
