Nettie Fay Goodman, 81, of Lake Charles died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 at a local hospital.
She was born in Lake Charles. She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff. She was an office clerk at Lakeside Laundry, and sales clerk at Brousse’s Toyland.
She is survived by her children, David Allen Goodman of Jacksonville, Fla., Ronald James Goodman (Patricia) of Ragley, Pamela Fay Goodman of Lake Charles; brother, J. D. Janise of Carencro; sister, Joyce Jessen of Sulphur; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar “Sonnie” Goodman; parents, Pete and Palmier Derouen Janise; five brothers; and one sister.
Her funeral service was held Thursday, Oct. 17, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Aubrey Guilbeau officiated. Burial followed in Consolata Cemetery.
