Mariah Lee Woods, 26, of Westlake, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019. She was born in Lake Charles.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin C. Woods; and daughter, Vera Lee Woods; parents, Michael and Sherry Cormier of Ragley, Lorrie Watkins of Gary, Ind., and Ray and Melinda Baas of Chalmette; brothers, Vincent Cormier of Sulphur, and Kyle Cormier of Moss Bluff; stepsister, Jolene Trout of Mt. Pleasant, Pa., and C. J. Stouffer of Acme, Pa.; paternal grandparents, Lee and Sylvia Cormier of Ragley, and Rufus and Betty June Davis of Mena, Ark.; maternal grandparents, Sharon and Dennis (preceded in rest) Watkins of Valparaiso, Ind.; paternal great-grandmother, Betty Elliott Deatherage of Westlake.
She was a graduate of SOWELA Technical Community College School of Nursing.
A memorial service was held at Bellview Baptist Church in Westlake on Saturday, Oct 26.
