Glynn Wesley Richey, 84, of Longville was born Aug. 28, 1935 in Sugartown and passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019 in Tulsa, Okla. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his children, Jeff Richey and wife, Shirley of Tulsa, Okla. and Denice Gadberry and husband, Brad of Redondo Beach, Calif.; grandchildren, Sammy, J. D., Tammera, Christina, Jessica, Blake and Andrew; great-grandchildren, Kenny, Gray and Chansonetta; and brother, Jerry Steven Richey of Ponca City, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Billie Peterson Richey; sons, Wesley Richey and Kenny Richey; grandson, Ben Richey; his parents, Forrest “Buck” Richey and Eunice Hodges Richey; brother, Charles Darwin Richey; and sister, June Richey Woy.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Riley Smith Funeral Home in DeQuincy. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley. Rev. Bill Smith will officiate.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
