Clara B. Vaughan, 85, of DeQuincy died Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, in a local hospital.
She was born in Eunice.
She is survived by her four children, Clara Padilla and husband Antonio of Eunice, James William Vaughan of Sulphur, Glen Dewayne Vaughan Jr. of Sulphur, and Ronald Vaughan and wife Debra of Sulphur; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Irene Lyles and Opal “Aunt Tootie” Matejowsky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Vaughan Sr.; two brothers; one sister; parents, Melvin and Iolet Hoover; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 2, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial was at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South.
