L.O.V.E. Community Mission recently met at the Elderly Housing Building. The group also celebrated eight years of dedicated service to the seniors of DeQuincy.
Plans were finalized for the upcoming Valentine Social to that was scheduled to be held on Saturday, Feb. 15. It was rescheduled. The Social will be held at the Mueller Building from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. A style show is planned.
Chief Casey Whitehead was present to share information about the local Triad Program.
Triad is the concept of cooperation between law enforcement and the senior services and seniors in the community to reduce the criminal victimization of the elderly.
