Lonnie Burks, 91, was born Mar. 1, 1929 and passed away April 23, 2020.\
He is survived by his wife, Lottie Burks; children, Roger Burks and wife, Mary, Cloma Sams and husband, Garvis, Anita Cotlong, Beverly Clark, Lonnie Burks, Amy Pleas and husband, Mike; numerous grandchildren; and sister, Bertha Burks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bryant and Willie Mae Burks; and brother, James Burks.
Funeral service will be private under the direction of Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St, DeQuincy.
