John Oliver Perkins, Sr., 78, of Singer died Monday, May 4, 2020.
He is survived by his sons, Timothy Perkins and Haydee of Moss Bluff and Marcus Perkins and Jessica of Vicenza, Italy; brothers, Donnis Perkins and Joan of DeQuincy, James Perkins of Singer, Clyde Perkins and Phyllis of Oretta; sisters, Peggy Hardy of DeRidder, Christine Harrison of DeRidder, Constance Chism and Raymond of DeRidder, Betty Hudson of Merryville, Dean Eddelmon of Alexandria; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, John Perkins, Jr.; parents, Theodore and Nellie McCloud Perkins; and two brothers.
A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.
