Loyce Lynn Beasley passed away peacefully in her sleep May 5, 2020. Loyce was born Apr. 19, 1933 in the same home that she lived in for over 86 years. Loyce worked many years for F & S Department Store and later for the Railroad Museum. Loyce was a member of First Baptist Church for over 75 years; she loved her church and her church family.
Loyce is survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Steve and Linnie Beasley; siblings Edith Young, Marion Beasley, Dorothy Mangum, Ray Beasley, and Tommy Beasley.
There was a private viewing at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 8, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home with a private graveside service following at 3 p.m. at Rigmaiden Cemetery in DeQuincy. Rev. Gil Arthur officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 West Fourth St., DeQuincy.
