Edward Pickering, a resident of Fields was born Mar. 1, 1954 and passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janis Smith Pickering; son, Trent Pickering; four grandchildren, Dillon Pickering and wife, Teann, Darren Pickering, Slade Pickering and Brody Pickering; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Keith Pickering; and sister, Cheryl Mitchell and husband, Rodney.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Shane Pickering; parents, Allen Edward Pickering and Goldie Mae Doyle Pickering.
A private visitation was held at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 14, with a private funeral following at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Roy Hoosier officiated. Interment followed at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
