James N. “Jim” Weldon, 78, of Ragley died Thursday, July 2, 2020.
Survivors include his wife, Shelia Menard Weldon, of Ragley; sons, Michael Weldon, Jeffrey Weldon, both of Nebraska, William Todd Weldon of Washington, Corey Weldon and Amy of Alabama; daughters, Erica Weldon of Ragley, Donna Kimrey Wilburn and Dan of Alabama; brother, David Weldon of Sulphur; sisters, Earline Weldon of Pitkin, Delores “Sis” Thompson, Delaris “Dumpy” Landry, both of Lake Charles, Audrey Ortego of Denham Springs, Nettie Voisin and Louis of Houma; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Bessie Weldon; two brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral service was held Tuesday, July 7, at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home. Rev. Donnis Ashworth officiated. Burial followed at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer.
