Jessica Renee Shirley, 42, of Hemphill, Texas made her heavenly journey on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in the Sabine County Hospital.
Jessica was born Nov. 9, 1977 in Lake Charles. She worked in management and security. Jessica was a huge LSU Tiger fan, and was of the Christian faith. She also enjoyed softball and reading.
She is survived by her mother, Loretha Neal of Hemphill; grandmother, Pauline Shirley of DeQuincy; uncles, Preston Wayne Shirley and wife, Brenda of Longville and Darryl Shirley and wife, Theresa of DeQuincy; aunts, Susan Baker and husband, Bobby of Liberty, Texas and Lydia Bertrand and husband, Nathan of DeQuincy; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Randy Wright of Hemphill and Tim Bartol of Potomac, Maryland.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Huey Shirley; and her sister, Courtney Neal.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home.
