Melba Duhon

Melba Anita (Phillips) Duhon, 98, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020.

She was born in Ragley. She held a variety of jobs throughout her life with two of her favorites at Mullers Department Store and Tony’s Pizza. She attended Boulevard Baptist Church. She served as a Moss Regional Hospital Pink Lady, even serving as President for a term or so. She lived at Resthaven Nursing Center for the last chapter of her life,

She is survived by her daughters Beverly Allen (Charles) and Pamela LeDoux (Colvin); four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Woodrow “Woody” Wilson Duhon; parents, Henry and Rinsie (Ware) Phillips; daughter, Gretchen Duhon King; and four siblings.

A graveside service was led by Rev. Randy Monroe on Sunday, July 26, at Highland Memory Gardens in the mausoleum.
