DeQuincy, LA
The City Council of the City of DeQuincy met in special session on Thursday,
July 23, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. at their regular meeting place located at 300 North Holly
Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana with the following members present: Ronda Jacobs, Judy
Landry, Denise Maddox. Absent: Mark Peloquin and Daisy Cole.
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Denise Maddox and the roll was called with the above result.
A motion was made by Judy Landry and seconded by Ronda Jacobs that an emergency ordinance be adopted declaring a public emergency and providing for the implementation of the Provisions of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act of 2020 regarding emergency paid sick leave. Motion carried as follows: Yeas: Judy Landry, Denise Maddox, and Ronda Jacobs. Nays: None Absent: Mark Peloquin and Daisy Cole.
Abstain: None.
There was no Public Input.
There being no further business to discuss, a motion was made by Ronda Jacobs and seconded by Judy Landry to adjourn the meeting.
