The DeQuincy Study Club was recognized at the 121st State Convention of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Louisiana, Inc. The Convention met electronically.
Jolene Constance of DeQuincy Study Club was elected as President- Elect of GFWC-LA for 2020-22. The DeQuincy Study Club won 3rd Place GFWC Community Service Program Award, 1st Place Education Award, 1st Place Home Life Award, 1st Place Community Improvement Award, 3rd Place Public Issues, 1st Place Communication and Public Relations, 1stPlace Leadership, 2nd Place Women’s History and Resource Center Award, 1st Place Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Award, and 3rd Place Advocates for Children.
GFWC consists of clubwomen who work together as a service-oriented organization that encourages volunteerism for the benefit of their communities, and on state, national and international levels.
