The Louisiana High School Athletic Association has named Dallas Coffelt and Kamden Perkins, seniors at DeQuincy High School, to its 2020 All-Academic Football Team. The All-Academic 4.0 Scholar Team is composed of senior student-athletes who have attained the highest grade point averages from all classifications in football.
Dallas Coffelt is a starting offensive and defensive lineman and a four year letterman in football, who has maintained a 4.0 grade point average throughout his high school career. After graduation, Coffelt plans to enlist in the Army National Guard and pursue a career in law enforcement.
Kamden Perkins also starts on the offensive and defensive lines and has lettered four years in football. Likewise, Perkins has earned a 4.0 grade point average. Kamden plans to attend Louisiana Tech University and pursue a degree in engineering.
Coffelt and Perkins will be honored at the All Academic Ceremony, which will take place at the LHSAA Office on Tuesday, Dec. 8.
The DeQuincy High football program congratulates these student-athletes on their achievements both in the classroom and on the field and looks forward to seeing their future accomplishments.
