Linda Faye Lucius was born Nov. 5, 1941 and passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 at the age of 79 at her residence in DeQuincy.
She is survived by her sons, Lance Dowden and wife, Diane of Fields, and Brent Lucius and wife, Ashley of DeRidder; grandchildren, Jason Dowden and wife, Tanya; Allison Hoffpauir and husband, Kye; Khloey Lucius and Isabella Lucius; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Wanda Hollie of Fields.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ivy Hyatt and Floice Alberta Perkins Hyatt; and sisters, Willie Mae Duncan and Ivianna Pickering.
The family received friends from 4-6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, with a 6 p.m. funeral service at First United Pentecostal Church, 230 Smith St., DeQuincy. A prayer service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, at First United Pentecostal Church in DeQuincy with interment following at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
