DeQuincy Railroad Museum and Gift Shop has reopened its doors after mitigating some storm damage and adhering to closures due to COVID-19 restrictions. Although there is a long road of recovery for the facility, the electricity is restored and they can now open to welcome visitors.
Work is still ongoing to have phones and internet restored. At present, the best way to contact the museum is through Facebook or by calling city hall at 786-8241.
Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
