Beulah Areno Burnett was born May 26, 1927 and passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021 at the age of 93.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Lambright, Sybil Guy, Daniel Burnett and wife, Dianna, Andrew Burnett, Darla Marcantel and husband, Mark, and Loren Burnett; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Harold Areno and wife, Annette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Mid Burnett, parents, John Penny Areno, Sr. and Irene Vincent Areno; her daughter-in-law, Debra Burnett; and son-in-law, Rev. George Guy; and eight siblings.
The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. The visitation and funeral service will be held at First United Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy, 230 Smith St., DeQuincy. Interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
