Hobert Domingue

Hobert W. Domingue, 87, of Westlake died Friday, Jan. 8, 2021.

He was born in Lafayette. During his high school years, he played football as running back for Marion High. After graduation he served honorably for his country in the United States Army. He was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic church for 20 years and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Domingue; sons, Kent Domingue and wife Francis, Carl Domingue, both of Lake Charles, Todd Domingue and wife Norma of Moss Bluff, and Kevin Campbell and wife Abby of Kansas City; daughters, Jennifer Stahl and husband, David of Moss Bluff, Melissa LaRocca and husband, Deron of Sulphur, Heather Guimbellot and Michael of Longville; brother, David Domingue of Lake Charles; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Elodie Broussard Domingue; daughter, Becki Dartez; two brothers; and one sister.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 10 a.m., at the Hixson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Magnolia Westlake Cemetery in Westlake.
